Dinje Price Calculated Barter

Tuesday, June 29th, 2010

Anyhow so my proposal is Price Calculated Barter

((mass+time)^chakra/abundance)*utility = price

for things like metals, abundance is the percent abundance of all elements,

so for one gram of gold:

abundance of gold is 4*10^-9

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Abundances_of_the_elements_%28data_page%29#Earth_bulk_continental_crust_and_upper_continental_crust

chakra density of gold is 3 since it’s refined or created by choosing entities

so plugging it into the equation

(10^3) / (4 * (10^-9)) = 2.5E11

to convert that to a base currency of food

where chakra density of grain is 2.3

(food^2.3 = 2.5E11

root(2.5 * (10^11), 2.3) = approx. 90287.18

so 10 grams of gold is worth about 90.3kg of food.

10 grams of aluminum about 60 grams of grain

root(2.5 * (10^11), 2.3) = approx. 90287.18

root(12150.668, 2.3) = approx. 59.691585

10 grams of iron about 70 grams of grain

(10^3) / (5.63 * (10^-2)) = approx. 17761.989

root(17761, 2.3) = approx. 70.403545

10 grams of copper about 1380 grams of grain

(10^3) / (6 * (10^-5)) = approx. 16666667

root(16666667, 2.3) = approx. 1380.1753

this is based on abundance in the earths crust,

much of that aluminum and iron is locked up in oxides,

ideally it would be based on the abundance in the market.

for a service, a chakra level and grams per hour can be agreed.

for instance someone that does a patrol, can be chakra level 3.1

and might pay them 30 grams an hour,

and they 40 hours a week.

(30 * 40)^3.1 = approx. 3.5112509E9
root((30 * 40)^3.1, 2.3) = approx. 14131.908

so that’s about 14kg of grain that week.

7kg a week is more than enough to feed a person.

the billing period would also have to be established,

due to the nature of exponents, the more hours, the more pay per hour.

for instance if paid daily working 8 hours a day

root((30 * 8)^3.1, 2.3) = approx. 1614.7705

get 1.6 kg a day (rather than 2kg per day if billing by the week).

anyhow with price-calculated barter people can trade a wide variety of materials and services.

and calculate the price of new items and services with precision.

The currency is called Dinje.

there is Money Dinje, and Debt Dinje.

Where if you provide a good or service you get Money Dinje.

And the person that gave it keeps a record which is the Debt Dinje.

So any money dinje certificate will say where it was gotten,

so as to know how it can be redeemed.

The issuer can be a person, a tribe, or larger group of people.

At some rate of exchange a persons money dinje can be exchanged

for a tribe’s or larger group, making it more valuable to foreigners.

For instance a person gives you some personal money dinje,

you go to their tribe bank and exchange for tribal money dinje.

the tribe can redeem relatively quickly the money dinje of an active memeber,

wheras it will be able to redeem debt even if membership changes at a future date.

Accountable

Thursday, June 17th, 2010

In order to be accountable,
have to have accounts.

Hence the barter-trade-calculation formula:

(((time+mass)^chakra)/abundance)*utility) = base price of item.

in addition to that price might be
the shipping and handling fee
or other transfer related taxes.

each person can be their own account manager,
and the community manages it’s account.

all community accounts are public to community members.
however a person can have extra-communal personal transactions.

to get money from other groups,
trade local products and services,
for money from other groups.

foreign currency can be bought from the community,
or from any persons that did personal project trades.
the value of the currency is projectCost/currencyReceived
if the community has several such projects it can be an average.

there are community projects,
and there are personal projects.

community projects are decided on at regular intervals.
perhaps following soon after a festive holiday celebration.

an interesting time for project elections day is at cellestial events,
such as equinoxes and solstices, which are traditionally sacred.
times with greater energy for potential, critical junctures.

people can choose to do personal projects at will.
it is wise to take into account any ongoing community work,
though ultimately it is a personal decision.

can involve other community members
if they volitionally choose and commit to do so.

while doing a community job,
any personal donations given or received should be taken record of,
including the people who gave the donation,
for allowing more people to appreciate them.
Personal donations can be kept wholly.

Customer can request to give a community donation,
which would add to the communities pot.
These donations should of course also be recorded.
With potential tax benefits as a charitable organization.

Some items or services can be from the community,
so can be free or nominal fee to rent for community members to use responsibly.
community covering the cost of repair and replacement for rented items.
member can potentially purchase a replica of a community item,
if community item is not available for purchase.

The goal of these community events,
to make sure every community member,
lives a fulfilling life in harmony with each other.

How to get Respect for a new Flag.

Tuesday, June 8th, 2010

There is a pesky bit of international law,

that “nations” can board, seize and otherwise molest “unrecognized nations”.

So how does one earn respect from a predator?

Respect enough to leave alone, and find some easier prey.

Some run, some hide, some have armour, some are thorny.

So if we are to pioneer a flag for instance:

black, gray, white.

We can put it on speedy vessels to be “hard to get” and military vessels to be “difficult to swallow”.

Or vessels which are somehow “bad for digestion” to predators.

Perhaps boats or steads full with composting matter.

Imagine a small submarine, that bothers to have the flag above the water line.

After spending a whole lot of time pulling it up out of the water by cranes,

it turns out it’s full of rotting garbage.

they might simply throw it back in the water.

Or risk being degraded to “garbage collectors”.

So these initial boats are somewhat of a “pioneering sacrifice”, so must be at least potentially expendable.

In case a boat is successfully captured, or in the process of, it should have some remote self-destruct ability.

It is best to waste as much of the predators energy, and once it’s got the “treat” make it “poof” and disapear.

Hungry and hurt, the predator goes to find some easier prey.

Initially can still having “recogized nations” flag at the residential stead(s).

Once a some boardings have been successfully repeled,

it may become convenient to use it on residential steads,

as onlookers would be just as weary of the

quick, prickly potentially poisonous flag,

worth practically no calories.

So at least for the “first impression” boats,

should all have internationally legal and very boring items,

with high risk of injury to predator,

and much potentialy wasted energy.

Once there are many such ships,

it becomes difficult for a megalithic army to track them,

and poor past experience dissuades them from further interaction.

Of course there is the alternative of becoming an edible fruit,

and hope that the predator defecates your seed in a prime location.

Birds and squirrels are quite prolific spreaders of seed.

Oxyhydrogen Catalysts

Thursday, May 27th, 2010

from http://web.mit.edu/newsoffice/2008/oxygen-0731.html

The key component in Nocera and Kanan’s new process is a new catalyst that produces oxygen gas from water; another catalyst produces valuable hydrogen gas. The new catalyst consists of cobalt metal, phosphate and an electrode, placed in water. When electricity –Â whether from a photovoltaic cell, a wind turbine or any other source –Â runs through the electrode, the cobalt and phosphate form a thin film on the electrode, and oxygen gas is produced.

Combined with another catalyst, such as platinum, that can produce hydrogen gas from water, the system can duplicate the water splitting reaction that occurs during photosynthesis.

The new catalyst works at room temperature, in neutral pH water, and it’s easy to set up, Nocera said. “That’s why I know this is going to work. It’s so easy to implement,” he said.
